Hi, I’m Trequiá Walker!

CEO and Founder of Ezer Collective Agency LLC.

Starting a business was never in the plan, at least not my plan. My plan was to graduate from Prairie View A&M University with my bachelor’s in criminal justice, go to law school, become a juvenile justice judge, and one day earn a seat on the Supreme Court of the great state of Texas.

Then life happened and that plan went downhill.

In 2014, I lost my best friend, my mom, and that sent 22-year-old me into a spiral. I spent my 20’s trying to figure out what life was and who I was living it for. It wasn’t until 2018, when I finally graduated with my bachelor’s in criminal justice, that I made the decision to move to Austin, Tx to rebuild and find myself.

While in Austin, I was employed at the IRS then Historical Research Associates, where I served as Human Resources Assistant. Between these two roles, I learned a lot about myself. I learned that I love celebrating others, making people smile, fixing systems that are broken or have cracks. I also love research. Working in HR allowed me to operate in systems that let me to create programs benefiting both employees and clients.

The only problem was — it wasn’t enough. It wasn’t my purpose.

I moved back home to Houston, Tx, where I stayed with family for a while. I remember sitting on an air mattress, crying to God, telling Him how I couldn’t keep living like that. I asked Him to partner with me in building something that gave me purpose and could get me and my family out of poverty.

 He answered.

And I ended up sleeping in the back of my car for the next three months.

Long story.

During those three months, I spent most of my days and nights working from Starbucks lobby or the library. I worked Shipt, Doordash, and Instacart and poured everything I earned into building my business, keeping gas in my tank, and making sure I had a meal for the day.

Today, I have what I like to call my Portfolio Career — my trifold business.

Ezer Collective Agency LLC consist of Ezer Consulting, Ezer Events, and House of Within. This is where I get to do everything I love: give back to others, help build businesses, handle the paperwork, make people happy, celebrate milestones, and build a life my mom would be proud of.

Working with me is working with someone who genuinely loves what they do, finds joy in helping others, as well as someone who will give 110% every single time.

Oh — and I’m in Texas A&M law school graduate program!

I built Ezer Collective Agency for the founder who is figuring it out, the business that needs structure, and the person who just needs someone to show up and do the work. I show up. Every time. Because my mom showed me what it looks like to give everything you have to the people you love – and now, those people are my clients. I look forward to serving you!
